01A tailor from the beginning
I was born and raised in Vietnam, where I discovered my passion for fashion. Growing up, life was not always easy. After losing my mother at a young age and facing many challenges, I learned early on that hard work was the only way forward. At just 15 years old, I pursued tailoring as a career, turning my passion into a way to build a life for myself. Through dedication and determination, I opened my first tailor shop and later had the privilege of teaching others the craft I love.
Starting again in Houston
At 30, I came to the United States as a single mother of two to build a better future for my family. Starting over in a new country was not easy, but through perseverance, I continued building my career in tailoring. In my mid-40s, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was one of the greatest challenges of my life, but it only strengthened my determination to keep moving forward.
A shop built to last
Today, Amy's Tailors is a reflection of my lifelong journey a business built through passion, perseverance, and years of dedication. I remain committed to providing every customer with expert craftsmanship and personalized care.
